Cox (Chisholm), Lulu “Anne” – The family of Anne Cox are saddened to announce her passing on July 17, 2021 in Wynn Park Villa, Truro.

Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bertha (Crowe) Chisholm.

Anne and her husband, Frank raised their family on the family farm in Princeport, where they worked together until their retirement. After retirement they spent 20 winters in Florida, summers at the lake and enjoyed many trips to Europe where they made many friends.

Mum was an active member of the Old Barns United Church where she was organist and choir director for 30 years. She looked after many people throughout her lifetime, welcomed everyone into her home with open arms and made sure they did not leave hungry. She was an incredibly positive person who cared about people and had a deep-rooted faith that carried her through life; a loving Mother who enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.

Anne is survived by her sons, Donald (Denise) Cox, Princeport; Robert Cox, Truro; daughters, Joanne (Randy) Crowell, Bible Hill; Sally (John) Forbes, Clifton; grandchildren, Anne-Marie (Andrew) Taylor; Laura Cox; Nathan (Emily) Dickie; Megan (Nick Stevens) Crowell; Brendan Crowell; and great-grandchildren, Nyomee; Elliott; Sage; Nico and Frankie.

She is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Frank; brother, Donald Chisholm; and niece, Connie (Chisholm) Weinberg.

The family acknowledge and thank the VON and the exceptional staff at Wynn Park for the kindness and care provided to Mum and the family. It was very much appreciated.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.

Visitation will be held from 1- 1:45 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021, in Old Barns United Church with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. also in the church with Rev.
