Mills, Isaac Franklin George – July 1992 – June 18, 2021.
From a very young age Isaac melted hearts with his sweet smile and his huge heart, as he grew older that sweet smile only got bigger and more contagious to those around him. Isaac had a love for music and learned how to play the guitar at a young age and accompanied his sister, Nikki who played the fiddle. His grandfather, Colmer would walk to their house just to listen to his grandchildren practice their music and was extremely proud to sit in the front row of all of Isaac’s shows.
If you were lucky enough to be one of Isaac’s close friends, you experienced the most loyal friend anyone could ever ask for. Isaac was always eager to help his loved ones, even if at his own expense. If Isaac loved you, there was no doubt about it; he was not one to hold anything back. Isaac was happiest when he was making someone else happy.
Isaac had a passion for life. He especially loved Daisy (his truck), Lucy Goose (his fur baby dog) and the biggest bonfires – the bigger the better. He cherished his family and friends. He loved the country life and was excited to start a family with Amanda. Little Olivia will grow up hearing many stories of what an amazing man her Daddy was and how excited he was to teach her about life while bracing himself for the day when he would have to chase the boys away. Isaac can rest in peace knowing that Patrick and the rest of the crew will be on duty when the boys start showing up.
In the days since Isaac’s passing, it has been quite clear that he made an impact on many people and will be deeply missed. We were blessed to have had him part of our lives, even if that time with us feels cut way too short; we will never forget what a special person he was to us.
Isaac was predeceased by his grandfather, Colmer Mills and grandmother, Jean (Stuart) Mills.
Isaac was loved by more people than he knew and is deeply missed by the love of his life, Amanda Harnish and their soon to be daughter, Olivia; his mom, Ann Marie Latimer; dear friend, Wayne McKenna; his sisters, Gena (David) Dawe, Nicole Mills (Tyler Negrich), JoEllyn Mills (Julian Finn); his nieces and nephews, Genevieve, Dominique and Gabrielle Dawe; Emily Mills-Werry, and Will Clancy; his parents-in-law, Robert and Deborah Harnish; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Amber and Robbie Harnish; his dear friends, Ruth MacDonald, Patrick and Matt Pickles, Martell and Natalie, Jordan MacEwan and many more.
At this time, no funeral arrangements have been made. Weather permitting, there will be a Celebration of Life will be held on Canada Day weekend.
