Dean, James Thomas – Age 81 of Dean, passed away November 14, 2021.
Born in Dean, he was a son of the late Thomas and Florence “Pon” Dean.
Jim spent most of his working life as a truck driver. He retired to his farm where he kept busy with his sawmill, harvesting blueberries and other odd jobs. Jim enjoyed bluegrass and old-time country music, jamming with his friends and a game of cribbage.
Surviving are his daughter, Doreen; grandchildren, Alex, Jessica, Delaney, Cole; great-grandson, Jackson; brothers, Reg and Harry; sister, Phyllis; partner, Pru.
He was predeceased by his son, Ricky; brother, Roddy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, from 3 – 5 p.m., in Upper Musquodoboit Fellowship Hall, 8397 Highway 224. Masks, proof of double vaccination and ID are required to attend.
Memorial donations may be made to Dean Cemetery.
