Fraser, Richard Bruce “Dick” – Age 92, of Higginsville, passed away January 1, 2021, in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax.
Born in Higginsville, he was a son of the late Bryson and Vera (Stevenson) Fraser.
Dick grew up on the family farm and had a love for horses. He went on to have many jobs and retired from Polymer International as an electrician in 1992.
Surviving are stepdaughter, Faye (Russell) Hamilton; step-grandson, Currie Hamilton; brothers, Fred (Elva) Fraser, Francis (Donna) Fraser; sisters, Marion Williams, Dorothy (Duncan) Glawson, Julia (Robert) Sullivan, Bernice (Byron) Taylor; sisters-in-law, Jean Fraser, Carol Fraser; Loretta Sullivan, Martha (Keith) Blois, Ruby Brousseau, Beverly Gould; brother-in-law, Ernie Cameron; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bernice (Cameron); step-daughter, Donna; brothers, Edson and Allen; brothers-in-law, Robert Williams, Leo Brousseau, Otis Sullivan, Leo Gould Sr.; sister-in-law, Joyce Cameron.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Higginsville Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Higginsville Cemetery or a charity of choice.
