Hilton, Michael Stewart – Age 73, of Shubenacadie, passed away on May 23, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late John and Vivian Hilton.
Mike worked for C.N. Railway for 26 years. Following that, he worked for several trucking companies and loved trucking to Newfoundland.
Surviving are his wife, Irene (Gilby); son, Keith (Kim), Shubenacadie; daughter, Vicky (Shane), Salem Cross Road; grandchildren, Cole, Jacob and Josie; sister, Corinne (Victor) Arsenault, London, Ontario. He was predeceased by brother, Kenneth; sisters, Marion and Cheryl.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
