Davison (McKenna), Vera Maxine - Age 77 of Lantz, left this earth to be with her Saviour on 28th of April 2020. Born 1942 in Lantz, Vera was a child of the late Clarence and Aileen (Paley) McKenna. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years William “Bill” Davison. She was “Mum” to her son, Ronnie and daughter, Nancy (Chris Tapper) Smith, “Gram“ to Andrew and Katie Smith and Carly Davison, and “ Grammie-Great” to Jaxson, Bella and Easton Smith and Ky and Khloe Davison.
Vera is survived by siblings, Pat Moore, Linda Bowman, Kenny (Patty), John (Jan) Mckenna and brother–in–law Otakar Bartulik. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Joy Bartulik, brothers–in–law, Albert Moore, Gary Bowman and son-in-law Peter Smith.
Vera was Post Mistress in Lantz for many years and in her spare time could be found working in her wonderful flower gardens or quilting.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Corporative, Upper Musquodoboit. At her request there will be no visitation, only a graveside service at St. George’s Cemetery at a future date.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in memory of Vera.
