Glendon Oscar Penny

Penny, Glendon Oscar – Stewiacke, passed away at age 78, in Colchester East Hants Centre, Truro on Friday, January 24, 2020, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was the beloved husband and best friend for 54 years, of his wife, Laura. Glen will be greatly missed by his sons, Gregory (Sherry), North River; Jim (Nancy), Enfield; granddaughters, Tatum, Kaylee and Annie; siblings, Barb Couturier, Fredericton; Marilyn Tully, Lantz; Victor (Linda) Penny, Brentwood. He was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Annie Penny.

Glen was a dedicated employee of Air Canada for 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed antique car shows, building homes, travelling and spending time at the cottage in Bayhead.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., in Stewiacke Baptist Church, with Pastor Joseph Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Bayhead Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
