Fowler, Stephen Boyd (Sgt. Ret’d) – Age 70, of Stewiacke, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2019, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with family by his side. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Stephen “Bob” and Dorothy (Elliott) Fowler.
Steve was a proud gunner who had served 27 years with the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a passionate outdoorsman who enjoyed four-wheeling and sharing his love of nature with family and friends.
A dedicated and proud family man, he will always be loved and missed by wife, Muriel; sons, David (Nicole), Stephen (Theresa), Scott (Hyla); grandchildren, Sarahann, Henry, Finley, Rory, Charlie, Olivia, Maverick; siblings, Dawn, Penny (Ronnie), Paul (Audrey); several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother-in-law, George.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, from 2-4 p.m. in Royal Canadian Legion Branch 70, Stewiacke.
Memorial donations may be made to Colchester East Hants Health Centre – Palliative Care or Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
