Taylor, Norma Ruth – Age 69, of Chaswood, passed away June 3, 2019, in Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital, with family by her side. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy (Isenor) Streatch.
Norma loved the outdoors, was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed time spent with her family and granddaughter.
She will always be loved and missed by husband, Brooke; daughter, Julie (DJ); granddaughter, Lily; sister, Glenda (Gardner); daughter-in-law, Tara. Her little dog, Mindy, will also miss her. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Trevor.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Middleton United Church, Middle Musquodoboit, Rev. Dr. Linda Yates officiating. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery. The family will meet friends for a reception downstairs in the church following the burial. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada (Nova Scotia Chapter).
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
Thank you to the homecare workers for their help which allowed Norma to stay in her home for as long as possible. Thank you to Dr. Karen Fewer and the staff of the hospital for the wonderful care and support Norma and the family received.
Just when the caterpillar thought her life was over she began to fly.
