Lacourse, Jean-Pierre – Age 73 of Stewiacke, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Middleton, he was the son of the late Jean-Marie Lacourse and Regina May (Quinn) Lacourse.
Pierre worked with the Canadian Coast Guard for 26 years. He was a loving husband and enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friends and cooking delicious meals and desserts for his family.
Pierre is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; his children, Jon (Taina) MacDonald, Trevor (Faithann) MacDonald, Jocelyn Durham, Marc Lacourse (Heidi), Aimee (Brian) MacAdam; grandchildren, Cameron, Natalie, Brynn, Connor, Jean Luc, Quinn, Elly, Sadie; sibling, Suzanne (Paul) Cameralli; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Donations in Pierre’s memory may be made to the IWK Foundation.
