Kidson, Randy Oliver – Age 25 of Upper Lakeville. It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of our only beloved son, on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

In Randy’s life he brought much joy to many people. He always had a big smile for whomever he met. Randy had a passion for people and the outdoors. He loved his truck, biking on his ATV, snowmobiling, travelling the lake on his barge in the summer, spending time at the family camp, and spending time with family and friends. He always had a place to be and someone to be with. Randy was a valued employee who worked at Bakers Point Fisheries since age 16.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Todd and Carla (Sanford) Kidson of Upper Lakeville; maternal grandparents, George and Joyce Sanford of Timberlea; and paternal grandmother, Roxie Kidson of Upper Lakeville. He will also be deeply missed by uncle, Craig (Linda) Sanford of Timberlea; aunts, Patricia Kidson (Murray) of Dartmouth, Kelly Kidson (Darrell) of Upper Lakeville; and cousins Shelly, Selena, Jessica “Sissy”, Kara and Connor. Randy had numerous close friends who loved him; many considered him family. He will also be greatly missed by his best fur buddies, Hunter and Bailey, the family dogs. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Oliver Kidson; uncle, Hal Kidson and beloved family friend, Reg Jessinghouse “Pops”.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Randy will be held Saturday, January 12th at 2 p.m. in Jeddore United Baptist Church, 8 West Jeddore Rd., Head of Jeddore, with Rev.
