Boyd, Trevor Andrew – Age 35, of Lawrencetown, Halifax Co., passed away suddenly on June 18, 2018. Trevor was born in Halifax, the son of loving parents, Gary and Louise (Levy) Boyd. He is also survived by twin sister, Tracey Grouse (Shawn); younger sister, Melissa Boyd; nephews, Trashaun and Josiah Grouse; niece, Malia Grouse.
Trevor was an educator within the Chignecto Central School Board and received an excellence in teaching award. He was also highly regarded as a student and community advocate. He had a passion for learning and had just completed his fourth university degree, a Master of Education in Counselling.
To know Trevor was to know love, kindness, and joy, for Trevor was certainly all of these things to everyone who knew him. He loved spending time with his friends, gardening, singing, sports, but most of all, his family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Visitation will be Friday, June 22, from 6-8 p.m., and Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 2 p.m., both in Good Shepherd Church, 3621 Lawrencetown Rd., with Pastor Bruce Belair and Pastor Scott MacKenzie officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Church. Interment will follow the service in Lawrencetown Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
