Gero, Helen Janice – The family wishes to announce the passing of our sister, Helen Janice Gero, age 60, peacefully on January 19, 2017, in Cedarstone, Truro.
Helen was a daughter of the late Helen (Borden) and John Gero (Truro); loving sister of Larry, Noreen and Kay (all deceased); John (Janice), New Brunswick; James, Ralph, Irvin (Marilyn), Sterling (Gwen), Gregory (Paula), Gertrude Fraser, all of Truro; niece of Shirley Landry, Truro.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m., followed by a memorial service in Zion United Baptist Church, 454 Prince Street, Truro, Pastor Brian O. Johnston officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion United Baptist Church.
