Hutt, Noreen “Reene” Louise – Age 78, of Hardwood Lands, passed away on August 29, 2016, in Shubenacadie, at the home of her daughter. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Perry) Smith.
She enjoyed knitting, watching birds, particularly hummingbirds, spending time with her grandchildren, and always enjoyed preparing for and having visitors.
Surviving are her children, Laurie (Leota), Christine (Keith) Moxsom, Helen (Johnny) Fraser, Perry (Tina), Jackie (Keith) Greeno; grandchildren, Troy (Victoria) Hutt, Drew Hutt, Kaylea Hutt (Scott Zwicker), Jeffery (Tara) Moxsom, Rory Moxsom, Tina (Mike) Butcher, Kyle (Natasha) Fraser, Lindsay Fraser (Kyle Tanner), Tyler Hutt (Jenn Sack), Benjamin Hutt (Dawson White), Brandon Hutt (Jessica Brown), Kristopher Moxsom (Katelyn Ross); great-grandchildren, Thane, Seth, Claire and Max Hutt, Noah and Addison Moxsom, Taylor Butcher, Cora and Chloe Hutt, Liam LeBlanc; sisters, Janet MacPhee, Rosemarie Day; sister-in-law, Pearl Barbrick; brother-in-law, Gerald Hutt. She was predeceased by her husband, Orrie; daughters, Cathy, Brenda; son, Freeman; granddaughter, Belinda; daughter-in-law, Carolyn; brothers, Frank, Charles, Murray, Howard, Kenneth; sisters, Jackie and Mabel.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Friday, at 11 a.m., in Hardwood Lands Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Beth Mattinson officiating. Burial will follow in Hardwood Lands Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
