Lynds, Randy James – Age 69, of Truro passed away April 17, 2025.
Randy got his first job at the age of 16 at Intertape Polymer and worked there for 30 years. Randy liked doing a lot of things but particularly enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, four-wheeling, and occasionally would like to have a drink and do the Hiram Lynds shuffle. He enjoyed taking his constant companion, his dog Ace, for drives. Randy was kind hearted and never said no to anyone, He will be missed by his family and many friends he made throughout his life.
Surviving are his spouse, Jeanie Steeves Theriault; sons, Curtis Lynds (Jessica Hamilton), Chris (Stacey) Lynds; daughter, Tina Lynds (Walter Dash); brothers, Robbie (Jean) Lynds, Ronnie (Karen) Lynds; stepsons, Richard Theriault and Edward Theriault; grandchildren, Brianna Lynds, Rachelle Lynds, Tyler Blenkhorn, Brooklyn Lynds, Hunter Theriault; and three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He was predeceased by his mother, Jean Lynds; father, Warren Lynds; sister, Lisa Brown; brothers, Curtis McNutt, Carl McNutt, Cecil McNutt and Jeff Lynds.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life May 10, 1-5 p.m. in North River Firehall.
