Holman, Earl Randolph “Randy” – Age 68 of Meadowvale, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was a son of the late Earl and Catherine “Kay” (Atkinson) Holman.
Randy had a great sense of humour, loved to play pranks on people and string his grandchildren along. He was a long-time fan of Pink Floyd – the louder the better.
For over 30 years Randy had been employed with Mosher’s Limestone as a loader operator. His grandchildren were his world. He was very kind, very opinionated and loved to argue. One of his proudest moments was to be able to witness his daughter’s wedding on Friday night.
Randy will always be loved and missed by his wife, Judy (Wright); son, Morgan; daughter, Lindsay (Roddy) Miller; grandchildren, Lincoln and Aubree; step-grandchildren, Sierra, Kurt and Brantley; many extended family members.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Murray.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, 2-4 p.m. in Upper Stewiacke Church Hall followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Special thanks to the Palliative Care staff for the excellent care that Randy received while he was a patient there.
