Larkin, Miriam Edith – Age 95, of Wittenburg passed away September 8, 2024 in Elk Court, Brookfield.
Born in Wittenburg, she was a daughter of the late James and Miriam (Richardson) Pulsifer.
Miriam graduated in 1952 from the Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing. Her main career was in Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital. She was an avid gardener, loved music and was director and played for the Country Church Choir. Miriam had a talent for composing and writing poems and stories. Many will remember the fellowship and food following yearly carol sings.
She will always be loved and missed by son, Ralph (Barbara); daughters, Jean (Dana) Day and Evelyn (Jim) Grosvenor; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by brothers, Willard, Ralph (Yvonne), Merrill, and Lloyd; sisters, Bessie (Layton) Dodsworth, Lara (Lewis) Wood and Mildred (Clifford) Burrows.
A family graveside service will be held in Mountain View Cemetery, Wittenburg.
