Hoddinott, Larry Stephen – It is with great sadness that we, the family of the late Larry Stephen Hoddinott, age 62, announce his sudden passing at home in Halifax on March 24, 2020. Born in Deer Lake, Nfld., he was a son of Winnie Hoddinott and the late Lloyd Hoddinott.
Larry will be fondly remembered for his love for his family and his friends. He had a huge heart and endeared himself to all who knew him. He had a great passion for music which was evident when he would play the piano and sing for the residents at Cedarstone Enhanced Care in Truro where he worked as a CCA. Prior to that he worked in the communication tower industry as a foundation foreman after ending his career in the hotel industry.
He is survived by his son, Joseph, Truro; grandson, Jordan Griffin, Debert; brothers, David, Gander, Nfld.; Terry (Joyce), Deer Lake; Kenneth (Marion), Howley, Nfld.; Brad, Deer Lake; sister, Linda Tulk, Deer Lake; as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Deer Lake.
