Graham, Gerald Maxwell – Age 82 of Eastville, passed away peacefully March 12, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Eastville, he was a son of the late Maxwell and Reta (Pineo) Graham.

A farmer, woodsman and sawmill owner-operator, he loved his farm that he shaped mostly out of the wilderness by himself. As an avid outdoorsman, houndsman and master guide, he had a special passion for wildcat and raccoon hunting, as well as fly fishing for salmon. Those who had the opportunity to hunt, trap or fish with him marvelled at his abilities in the outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, picking wild cranberries and blueberries, and getting the first mayflowers of the season for his wife. For all of his accomplishments, abilities and talents, he counted his wife, children and grandchildren his greatest joys, next to his faith in Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beverley; son, Jerry (Jody), both of Eastville; daughters, Anna (Andrew) Singer, Shubenacadie East; Jeana Graham, Dromore, PEI; stepdaughter, Michelle Pental, Mahone Bay; grandchildren, Angela, Michael, Kylee, Emma, Laura, Nigel, Maddison, Christopher, Matthew, Maxwell, Walter and Maeve; brothers, Leon (Nancy), Sundre, AB; Gordon (Marjorie), Edmonton; sisters, Maxine (Laurie) Monk, Brookfield; Evelyn (Richard) Cox, Dean; sister-in-law, Shirley Graham, Brookfield; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by infant son, Stephen; brothers, Howard and Arthur; two infant nieces; nephew, Garth.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1-1:45 p.m. in Springside Community Centre (formerly Springside United Church), 7072 Hwy. 289, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Joel Wellard officiating. A reception and time of fellowship will follow in Stewiacke Valley Baptist Church, 1476 Otterbrook Rd. Interment will be at a later date in Eastville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Canada.

Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
