Matheson, Clark “Wendell” – Elmsvale, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, in Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital, Middle Musquodoboit. Born on September 23, 1921, in Center Musquodoboit, he was a son of the late Walter and Mary (Reid) Matheson. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, the former Evangeline Kaulback; sons, Gale (Sharon), Scott; daughters, Deanna (Gervaise) Currie, Wendelin Pittman, Cosette (Claude) White; daughter-in-law, Dawn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Daisy Kindervater, Goldie Gates, Connie Wheeler. He was predeceased by sons, Bert and Mark; brothers, George, Garnet, Ronnie, Elmer and Douglas in infancy; sister, Isabelle McMullen; great-grandson, Cody.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Wendell’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A family graveside service will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Elmsvale. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
