Dickie, Michael Albert - Age 59, Stewiacke, passed away March 13, 2015, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, surrounded by his family. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Howard and Gwynneth (Ackles) Dickie. For 33 years, Mike had been employed by Canadian National Railway from where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, tying his own flies, making models railroads, spending time in his man cave and at the lake.
Surviving are his wife, Rhonda Gross; daughters, Emma and Moira; sister, Wendy (Leo) Guyette; four nephews.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Mike's wishes, there will be no service. A celebration of his life will be held in July at the man cave and at Lake Charlotte. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
