Fiddes, Beverley Eileen – Age 81, of Truro, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre on April 22, 2025 with family by her side.
Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Norma (MacLeod) MacKenzie.
She loved to crochet and kept her fingers busy doing this craft. An avid Blue Jays fan, she enjoyed baseball games. She and her husband of 62 years spent their lives between Chester and Lower Onslow, later moving to Truro. Bev was an avid swimmer and boater. She loved her dogs, Kenzie, Chloe, Ziggy and Oscar. She enjoyed making friends, sharing laughter and good times regardless of where she lived.
She will always be loved and missed by her husband, Lin; son, Paul (Sharon); daughter, Tammie; grandchildren, Josh (Tamara), Devin (Melanie), Justin, Shawn, Kayla (Justin); great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Owen, Charlie, Lincoln, Elaina and Liam; special friends, Patti Bowers, Starr Morrisey and Shelley Fisher.
She was predeceased by brothers, Roddie and Rollie.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday April 25th, 7 - 9 pm in Lower Onslow Community Centre,
12391 Highway 2, Lower Onslow.
Memorial donations to The Salvation Army would be appreciated.
