Pickles, Reta Mary – Age 84, of Wittenburg passed away October 18, 2023 at home with family.
Born in Antrim, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Dillman) Moore.
Reta enjoyed bluegrass festivals, playing cards, going to yard sales and the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. She loved the family karaoke nights. Reta was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always having time for her family.
She will always be loved and missed by her children, James (Monica), Robert (Darlene), Sandra (Edward) Snyder, Pat (Linda), Kenny, Ron (Pam), Freda (Adam) Geldart; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter; sisters, Nina Dort, Clara Campbell, Margaret Pelrine; brother, Edgar (Linda); several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased be her husband, Stanley; sons, Kevin and John in infancy; grandson, Michael; sister, Freda in infancy; brothers, Anthony, Bob, George, Henry, Richard and Ronald.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in St. Paul’s United Church, Antrim with Rev. Allan Lynk officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Middle Musquodoboit.
Memorial donations may be made to Nuttall Hill Cemetery, Antrim.
