Fraser, James “Gerald” – Age 90 of Upper Musquodoboit, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2015 in Braeside Home for Special Care, Middle Musquodoboit. Born in Upper Musquodoboit, he was a son of the late James and Lottie (White) Fraser. Gerald was a hard worker, having been employed in the Caribou gold mines, at local sawmills, Mosher Limestone, and retired from Paul’s Hardwood. He always enjoyed conversations with anyone he met. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Audrey; son, Laurie; sister, Joyce Fraser; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Marie (Donald) MacInnis, Betty (Reg) MacPhee; nieces, Judy and Sally.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., with funeral service Thursday at 2:30 p.m., all in St. James United Church, Upper Musquodoboit, Rev. Michael Henderson officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
