Cherie Carol Miller

Miller, Cherie Carol – With my devoted sister by my side, I, Cherie Carol Miller, left this world, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, on June 1, 2018. Born in Truro, I was the second daughter of Boyce Emery and Carol Ann (Kelly) Miller.

I leave behind four sisters, Patricia Ann (Joseph Arseneau), who always considered herself too good to be a Miller; Geraldine Michele (Ken MacVicar), a wonderful, wonderful sister-friend; Brenda Elaine, a tortured soul; and Julie Rose of Ontario; four nieces and three nephews. I also leave behind my most faithful companion, K.C., my bestest friend ever; my extended family of sisters, in no order, Chrystal, Linda, Donna, Leona and Susan, who were always there for me.

Like everyone, I always knew we had two things to do in this world – live and die. It's what we do in the middle that counts. Once I learned to live for me and not others (men), all was good. So I learned to Live, Love, Laugh, and most importantly, with No Regrets!

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 1 p.m. in St. Andrew’s United Church, Truro, with Keith Selwyn-Smith DLM officiating. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday from 2-5 p.m. in The Engine Room, with DJ Chuck. Tell a few stories, listen to some good tunes, have a laugh, a bite to eat and No Regrets!

Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
