Jennings, Catherine Alexandra – Age 76, Middle Musquodoboit, passed away January 28, 2015, in Braeside Home for Special Care. Born in Antigonish County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel MacDonald and Jeanette (MacLean) MacDonald Cole. Catherine enjoyed a game of cards, playing bingo and she loved to dance.
Surviving are son, Dan Pickles, Edmonton; siblings, Don MacDonald, Alberta; Christine Begin, Ontario; Louise Pettipas, Quebec; Frank Cashin, Texas; Mary Tober, British Columbia; Marleen Hubley, Antigonish; half-siblings, Anne Marie Thiebert, George Cole, Eugene Cole, Betty MacAulay, Lynn Zettler, all of Alberta; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John; step-father, Ivan Cole.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. A service celebrating Catherine’s life will be held at a later date in Middleton United Church, Middle Musquodoboit. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
