Barry, Michael Gerald – Age 60, of Woodside (Dartmouth), passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2015. Born in Halifax, he was a foster son of Roland and Myrtle (Bayer) Williams. Mike had been employed for more than 35 years in the housekeeping department of the Nova Scotia Hospital where he made many long-lasting friendships. Anyone who knew him knew of his loyalty, and his generosity and caring for people and animals alike.
Surviving are sisters, Sheila Marks, Rose Rowe, Dale Dooks. He was predeceased by sister, Vivian Cleveland; brothers, Kenneth, Cameron, Leonard, Maynard, Wayne.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a later date in Ostrea Lake Fire Hall. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Special thanks to Shirley, Gloria, Tom and Gary.
